Inspired by workshop
Following on from yesterday's workshop, I decided to make this pink themed card using the folding technique I learnt yesterday.
I also used some of the yummy pink glitter paper I purchased from Debbie Moore.

I used a clear stamp from pink gem and coloured with pro markers. Other items are from my own craft stash.

Debbie Moore Workshop
Today we attended craft designer Debbie Moore"s workshop.
We learnt some new folding techniques and met sone new crafty friends too.
The workshop featured the art deco black and white card style and the afternoon workshop was making a card from Debbie's glitz and glamour collection.

Here's what I made at the workshop.

Cluster hat and cardigan
Sporting my latest baby outfit of a peach cardigan and bonnet is my first walky talky doll Peggy my new stand in model.

The outfit is a lovely cluster design crocheted in peach double knitting wool

Peggy is wearing her original full length dress made by my mum over 40 years age, and it is still as good as new.

Handbags at the Ready 2
There's the handbag I made for my sister Jane
Again I have used Bigga Wool and large needles, however for this design i finally got the hang of doing a cable pattern. I thought it would give the bag an extra special "twist"

I also made 3 different flower embelishments so she can add whichever ones take her fancy these can be attached with a clasp so they can be attached and removed easily

Shrink plastic fun
Got a new delivery of shrink plastic today and thought I would try out some of my cute stamps. Decided to go for a very subtle effect so used water colours and a water brush to get this effect. I also added a bit of sparkle too which you can just pick up in the photo.

Baby card for triplets
Janet asked me to make a card for her friend to celebrAte the birth of her friends triplets. I thought it was a good idea to use a tall DL card with 3 apertures.

I made the embellishments above from fino clay and chose baby themed items like a rattle, bottle and the little pink footprints.
